Pictures of the "real" Lampman Ranch

Here you see the Big Horn Mountains. The "W" is in the center of the picture, though you may not see it right away. You can
clearly see the large V shaped canyons on either side of the "peak". They form the "W"

This is a picture of me on Bonnie. We'd obviously had her awhile since she is wearing a saddle and bridle so I was probably
about five. The saddle is my grandfather's; note how long the stirrups are.
Also notice the building in the background. In my time it was the chicken coop, but it started life as the original homestead
cabin. I think my great-grandfather lived here when he first arrived in 1887. Note the sod roof and the native grass. According
to my father the only place it still grows is there and on the roof of the saddle shop which was the house my great-grandfather
built when his wife and daughter arrived in 1888.

This is my brother Louie on Bonnie. It is probably pretty close to the same time as the other though she is wearing a different
saddle. The man to the right is my grandfather- better known to my readers as Charlie.
